April 2025 Meeting

Our next meeting is April 3. Our meetings are casual and give us a chance both to connect with neighbors and to take action on local or national issues.

Contact us and we’ll be in touch about details. If you are currently a member you will receive location information by email. You can participate in our group to whatever degree and on whatever schedule works for you.

April 5th Town Hall Meeting

Afton Indivisible Organizes Town Hall Forum to Promote Democracy, Civic Engagement.

Afton Indivisible is organizing a town hall forum featuring MN State Sen. Judy Seeberger, D-Afton, representing District 41. State Rep. Wayne Johnson confirmed his attendance but subsequently withdrew. Coincidentally, his withdrawal came one day following the larger call by GOP congressional leadership to no longer attend town halls. Seeberger has confirmed her attendance and that the event will continue despite Johnson’s withdrawal. All Afton and Senate District 41 residents are invited to attend the event.

Saturday, April 5th, 2025
10:30am - 11:30am
Afton City Hall

Tesla Takedown

It’s exciting to see the growth of the Tesla protests at the Lake Elmo Tesla dealer. In just a few weeks we’ve grown from a handful of protesters to, last Saturday, about 80! Many people at the most recent protest told us they were new to activism. They said they’re fed up and needed to do something.

We picket most Wednesdays and Saturdays. We’ll take a break on April 5 (to attend Hands OFF! events), then will be back the following Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Wednesdays & Saturdays
12:00–12:30 PM
Lake Elmo Tesla
9800 Hudson Blvd N
Lake Elmo, MN 55042

The dealership is on the frontage road that is just north of Highway 94, west of the exit for County 19/Keats Ave N.

Parking and access is easy. There’s a vacant gravel lot on the west side of the dealership with free parking (that’s the left side, as you face the Tesla building from the front).
